Well, here we go. I'm now up to my knees in art stuff. Just finished my first small show thing. No purchases yet, but we'll get there. It was a good experience. Now it's time to do more scratchboard. Any ideas where I can find some good pictures of beetles?! Any who, been doing a lot of arting. And, now I'm ready for even more! ^_^ Yay.

Well, what kills the artistic drive?...being tired and having no time to actually rest. Working all the time does not leave much time to do art. Then there is actually starting to work on a piece and getting stuck. So, I think this is the point that I might actually start working on more than one project at a time. Usually I wont let myself get more than two projects going at once, but with the scratchboard I think I get bored with a piece and or it's just not turning out as nice as I would like for it to. Anyways, there it is. I'm in another rut. But, hopefully should be moving along shortly. ^_^

You know when you have had a dream since you were a kid and it just seemed like it might never happen, or it just seems too hard...well, I'm here to say, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...Dreams can come true with a TON of hard work! It might not seem big to other people, or even a big milestone, but, selling my first piece of artwork to someone who really likes it and enjoys what I have created makes me have hope and motivation again. And then the cherry on top is getting accepted into a hard art show and knowing that your art isn't crap is amazing! The next year is going to be a roller coaster full of
